| Each kitten comes with a 1 year Genetic guarantee. Kittens are sold with a NO DECLAW policy and Alter Agreement (unless sold as a breeder). SignatureRags ----- Alter Agreement Document
1. Purchaser agrees to alter this cat/kitten before the time frame suggested below:
Females - Six Months Old
Males - Six Months Old
2. Purchaser will provide sellers with proof of altering in the form of dated receipt from Certified Veterinarian that includes a
description of the animal involved. Purchaser will send this proof of altering to seller NO LONGER THAN ONE MONTH
after the date the altering was performed by the veterinarian.
3. Seller(s) reserve the right to withhold cat/kitten’s pedigree and registration papers if the purchaser fails to comply with this
agreement and reclaim the kitten without refund of the purchase price.
4. Purchaser agrees NEVER to breed this cat/kitten and to have it altered in the time frame suggested above.
5. The purchaser agrees that, if any of the above terms are disregarded, the breeder will RECLAIM this cat/kitten WITHOUT
REFUND of the purchase price. The purchaser further agrees that, if item 4 is disregarded, buyer will pay an additional
$2000.00 in damages to breeder, that any offspring of this cat/kitten are to be delivered to the age of 10 weeks to breeder as
breeder’s sole property and that breeder will also RECLAIM the cat/kitten WITHOUT REFUND of the purchase price.
Buyer agrees to pay all court costs if this contract is litigated and that any suit shall be filed and tried in Michigan under the
Law of Michigan.
6. Should there be a medical reason as to why this cat/kitten should not be altered the purchaser should contact the breeder
with a written statement from a certified veterinarian stating the reason. The sellers will not be responsible for any
veterinarian expenses.

The sellers and the purchaser agree to the following conditions of this agreement:
● This agreement is made in the State of Michigan and is subject to the laws of that state. Transportation of animal to
another state or country is for the convenience of the purchaser. It is agreed that the laws of any other state or country
have no authority on this transaction.
● Deposit is non-refundable. Deposit will be deducted from the total purchase price. Deposit may be refunded in full
and sale cancelled by SignatureRags for any reason.
● Balance of sale due by:______________________ or both kitten and deposit may be forfeited. If kitten/cat is being
shipped by air then the full price of kitten/cat, airline cost, kennel cost, and vets health certificate must be paid prior to
shipping. Up to 50% of purchase price will be withheld as a non-refundable deposit from all monies paid.
● Purchaser agrees NOT to declaw this cat/kitten and understands having a cat/kitten declawed will VOID this contract.
● Under no circumstances is this cat/kitten to be given, sold, or leased to any pet shop, research laboratory or similar
facility. In addition, purchaser agrees not to resell, transfer or give away the cat/kitten without written consent from the
seller or cat/kitten must be returned to seller without refund or compensation.
● The buyer agrees to provide proper housing, diet and general health care according to the A.V.M.A. Including
completion of immunizations (unless already given) plus yearly exams and boosters.
● Lack of basic immunizations and boosters (records must be validated by vet or breeder actual bottle stickers) will make
null and void any and all guarantees in the contract.
●If kitten/cat is sold as a breeder, there is no guarantee that the cat/kitten will be of show quality and/or be able to
produce offspring. However, we have never had any problem with fertility if the cat are in good physical condition and
kept in a safe and loving environment.
● The cat/kitten is to be kept indoors ONLY
● Giving the FIP vaccine, Feline Leukemia vaccine, or Clamydia will make null and void any and all guarantees in the
contract.
● SignatureRags guarantees the cat/kitten to be free from disease for 48 hours after purchase. Purchaser is advised to take
the cat/kitten to a certified veterinarian for a complete examination within this time period. If within 48 hours of sale the
buyer believes the cat/kitten to be sick, the buyer will take the cat/kitten back to SignatureRags, who will either return the
cat/kitten in well condition, offer the buyer a replacement cat/kitten, or refund monies paid. This option will be decided
by SignatureRags. If professional medical care is given to cat/kitten, SignatureRags is not responsible for any monies
paid.
However:
If the buyer receives a Certificate of Health then buyer is responsible for the health of the cat/kitten.
● Cat/Kitten is guaranteed against genetic defects until one year of age and will be replaced by a cat/kitten of equal value
should the cat/kitten die or be diagnosed within that time (at the expense of the buyer). Must be verified by a certified
veterinarian and copy of full medical history. If the cat/kitten should die within one year an autopsy must be performed
and indicate a genetic cause of death. If it does, seller shall replace the kitten when the time is right for both the seller and
buyer. Under no circumstances will money be refunded.
● There is no warranty or guarantee other than what is expressed in this agreement.
